Weekly Events
Each week we run the following events (they run all year, unlike the special events you can find on our Special Events page and on our main page).
All 7 days per week we are open for casual gaming of any type, it is just that the events below are much more organized. We welcome Warhammer, Magic, D&D, and all other types of games and gamers whenever they would like to come in and play.
Just because we have FNM running on Friday evenings upstairs doesn't mean that we can't have a group of D&D players using one of the rooms downstairs, or have Warhammer players set up at one of our tables at either the front or back of the shop. Likewise, while Monday doesn't have a scheduled weekly Magic tournament, players are more than welcome to come in and play some games casually.
Tuesdays:
Elder Dragon Highlander (Magic) @ 6:00 pm - FREE.
Completely casual games of EDH, sometimes with Planechase or Archenemy cards added in as well. Come down and represent your general in one of Magic's most innovative and unique formats ever created! We try to give out extra items to our weekly players at random such as promotional foils, Planechase promos, and Archenemy promos - so don't miss it!

Board Game Night @ 6:00 pm - FREE.
Come play board games in the store with your friends and other players from the local area! We offer many games that we carry, and you can always bring whatever you would like to play from home. No charge - simply casual play for everyone!
Wednesdays:
Legacy (Magic) @ 6:00 pm - $5 Entry.
Come battle eternal-style in our mid-week sanctioned Legacy tournaments! We put 100% of the entry fees into prizes (in the form of store credit) and thus they are determined by number of entrants each week.

Thursdays:
Standard Constructed (Magic) @ 6:00 pm - $5 Entry.
Test out your newest standard build in our sanctioned Thursday tournaments! We put 100% of the entry fees into prizes (in the form of store credit) and thus they are determined by number of entrants each week.

Fridays:
Friday Night Magic (FNM) Booster Drafting @ 6:00 pm - $15 Entry
Entry covers each player's 3 booster packs that they will use in the draft as well as prize support. Participants draft decks from within their randomly assigned pods, and will typically play 3 rounds of swiss within their pods before we cut to single elimination rounds for prizes.
We randomly award table numbers (pairs of players) with free prizes during the rounds which may include recent foil promo cards, planechase promos, archenemy promos, and even occasional playmats and boosters.
We currently are running these drafts with Magic 2011 (M11) product.

Saturdays:
Warhammer Fantasy and 40,000 Casual Play.
Need to field that new painted army? Having trouble finding an opponent? Come in on Saturdays and pick up a game.
The GYGO staff will be here to cheer you on! Waaaaaaaaaaaaagh!
Sundays:

Pokemon Leagues @ 3:00 pm - FREE.
Drop by for the only Pokemon league in Ann Arbor! There is no regular tournament structure, it is just casual play and trading. A few regular players are usually on hand and can help new players if they have any questions about the game or are looking for help building a deck.
